Marbling Art (EBRU) Workshop

Marbling Art (EBRU) Workshop

Join us in the heart of Istanbul for an immersive experience in the centuries-old art of marbling, also known as Turkish marbling, recently recognized by UNESCO as part of the world cultural heritage.

Our journey begins in a historic studio housed in a centuries-old heritage building in the vibrant neighborhood of Galata. Known for its rich history and vibrant atmosphere, this area offers the perfect backdrop for a creative adventure.

Under the guidance of world-renowned artist Tuzin Tiryaki, one of the world's leading marbling artists, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of this traditional art form. Tuzin will demonstrate the delicate use of traditional tools and then you will have the opportunity to create your own unique pieces on the marbling art tray.

Once your marbled papers are dry, we will invite you to our terrace where you can enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of Istanbul, including the historic peninsula and the sparkling Bosphorus. While enjoying the view, you will be served Turkish coffee, Turkish delight and an array of delicious Turkish snacks.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home your own marbling artworks along with a Certificate of Participation to commemorate your participation in this unique experience. Feel free to collect as many memories as you wish with photos and videos of your artistic journey.

This is a family-friendly workshop and children are welcome.

Feel free to contact us at any time for special events (birthdays, honeymoons, etc.), group events and private arrangements. We can also accommodate large groups of up to 150 people in our workshop.

The workshop space has excellent ventilation and is full of corners perfect for taking photos.
